What you see in the photo to the left is Quizzy. Quizzy is A Beagle/Greyhound mix. While the results of this unlikely crossing of doggie genes is certainly
pretty in a skinny-waisted, floppy-eared kind of way, I'm sure the act that resulted in her creation was pretty scary to see.

Quizzy was born in early 1994. We got her at c. 4 months of age when the people who owned her decided they had too many pets, and needed to jettison the most recent acquisition. We are very happy they made this mistake.

Quizzy is very selective about whose company she will entertain. She generally likes children and most women, but will unexpectedly warm up to the occasional male, too. She will, however, sneak up on anyone and steal a sniff as long as you don't look at her.

Quizzy's favorite activity is patrolling our large, fenced yard where she will let the entire neighborhood know if a chipmunk sneezes anywhere in a 10 mile radius at any hour of the day. This is in between burying the children's stuffed animals, of course. Some anthropologist is going to have a field day in our yard in 500 years!
